Description
EBC Prolite floating brake disc, full floater.
The aim of the development is to improve the braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses HPSR steel with a low carbon content, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction.
This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. In addition, the entire surface is protected with a 3 micron thick zinc layer, which is worn away in the area of the brake pad contact zone already during braking.
Only in this area can light flash rust form after prolonged use.
– Brake ring milled from forged HPSR steel with low carbon content
– therefore no distortion of the brake disc even under maximum load
– no vitrification of the braking surface, coefficient of friction therefore remains constant
– braking surface drilled with optimised hole pattern
– galvanised to protect against corrosion –
hub made of anodised aluminium –
lowest manufacturing tolerances –
independent design
Top Quality – Made in U.K.
